Parents’ Reviews
„My son Jaś attends swimming lessons and has also taken part in skiing courses with BiegunSport. The owners and instructors have an amazing approach to children – with humor, smiles, and genuine passion. This can’t be faked – you either have it or you don’t. And without it, children’s progress simply wouldn’t be possible. With full confidence, I highly recommend them!” – R. Bieliński
„My daughter has the pleasure of taking part in swimming lessons. I’m truly impressed by the professionalism of the BiegunSport coaches. They all have a fantastic way of working with children. In my opinion, they are perfectly prepared for each class. Moreover, the pace and style of teaching are always adapted to the children’s abilities and age. I wholeheartedly recommend this company.” – J. Rosak

How to match Your Child’s Skill Level to the Right Group?
Please register your child according to the guidelines below. After the first class at the pool, we’ll be able to confirm whether the chosen level is suitable for your child.
Skill levels by group:
0 – Learn to Swim (from scratch)
The child is just starting – adapting to the water, learning to submerge face, nose, eyes, and requires floaties/armbands.
0–1 – Water Adapted Beginner
The child is comfortable in the water, learning to swim on the back and stomach (with floaties).
They can submerge face and head under water, and move independently using floaties, a noodle, or a board.
1 – Beginner Swimmer
The child swims independently in streamline (on stomach and back).
Learning and improving backstroke, starting with basic front crawl.
2 – Developing Swimmer
The child swims backstroke with arm movement, can swim streamline on stomach, and is learning front crawl.
Improving backstroke and crawl, learning butterfly kick, and jumps from the block.
3 – Intermediate Swimmer
The child swims backstroke and front crawl, starting to learn butterfly.
Also beginning breaststroke.
4 – Advanced Swimmer
The child swims backstroke and crawl, improves butterfly, and learns breaststroke.
Focus on refining backstroke, crawl, and butterfly, learning and improving breaststroke, competitive-style starts, and turns.
5 – Pre-Competitive / Training Group
The child swims well in all four strokes.
Focus on advanced technique in all strokes, competitive starts, and turns. Includes training-style exercises based on competitive swimming.

Swimming Preschool – Learn to Swim from the Very Beginning
How do we train the youngest children?
At our Academy, we run classes for children starting from the age of 3 (if the child is ready). We also offer lessons for teenagers and adults, so everyone can find a group suited to their needs. Our instructors are specially trained to work with preschool-age groups. They bring a smile and positive energy to every class. We use a wide variety of toys and equipment to make classes colorful and engaging. We focus on learning through play, so that children feel comfortable in the water. The most important stage is the first few lessons – the so-called adaptation to the water environment.
ADAPTATION TO THE WATER ENVIRONMENT
The initial and most important phase of teaching small children to swim is adaptation to the aquatic environment. This is the key skill a child needs in order to learn swimming freely.
It includes:
- Correct breathing in the water
- Opening eyes under water
- Moving in any way on the stomach or back
Every child adapts differently – some may master these elements in one lesson, while others need up to two months. However, these basics are essential; without proper adaptation, swimming results cannot be expected.
The best way to achieve adaptation is through play in the water. Games and fun activities help children overcome their natural barriers. Parents should be aware that at first, this is not always a pleasant experience for kids. “Wet” and cold water entering the eyes, ears, and mouth is something new and often uncomfortable. But through engaging games, children forget about the discomfort, get used to the new environment, and gradually gain confidence – which later makes it much easier to learn proper swimming movements and habits.
LEARNING TO SWIM
The main goal for parents enrolling their children is, of course, learning to swim.
We start with swimming using floaties, noodles, or other buoyancy aids. However, independent swimming (without equipment) is crucial – mainly for the child’s safety, for example during holidays by the water – and it is the core goal of our program.
Already during adaptation, and increasingly after it, we introduce elements of swimming techniques.
- We begin with backstroke, as this allows children to feel safe – they don’t have to submerge their head and can observe everything around them while moving independently.
- The next step is swimming on the stomach, which we introduce once the child has learned to breathe properly in the water.
- Once a child can swim freely on the back and stomach (in a streamlined position), we can move on to teaching swimming techniques and gradually introduce new elements of the strokes.
What and How Do We Teach?
LEARN TO SWIM – CHILDREN BEGINNERS (AGES 3–6)
In the first stage, children adapt to the new environment and practice moving freely in the water. We focus heavily on combining play with adaptation and learning to swim. Without proper adaptation to the aquatic environment, swimming progress is not possible.
We understand that “wet and cold water” entering the eyes, ears, and mouth can be something new and often limiting for children. That’s why we use a wide variety of games and playful exercises – helping children forget about the discomfort, get used to the new environment, and smoothly move on to learning correct swimming habits and movements.
LEARN TO SWIM – CHILDREN, TEENAGERS & ADULTS
Our lessons aim to teach participants all four swimming strokes: starting with backstroke, then freestyle (crawl), breaststroke, and finally butterfly.
We use a variety of drills and exercises to make learning simple, structured, and effective, building step by step the key movement skills needed in the water.
SWIMMING TECHNIQUE IMPROVEMENT – CHILDREN, TEENAGERS & ADULTS
These classes take on a more training/sports-focused approach, aimed at refining not only stroke technique but also turns, starts, and dives. Perfect for those who already swim but want to improve efficiency, speed, and competitive-level skills.
